Brass Mermaid Statue

A mermaid sits somewhere between a coastal reference and a mythical one, which gives a piece more character than a plain shell or starfish would. The Brass Mermaid Statue has an arched form with a real sense of movement through the pose, moulded in resin with a brass toned finish rather than solid metal. Textured scales and a shell base add detail across the surface. It works as a statement on a bookshelf, a console or a side table, particularly in a room already leaning coastal. The warm metallic tone picks up other brass in a space.
